*Providing mental health therapy and clinical supervision in Maryland*
Not sure where to start? Let's create a plan during your initial evaluation.
I can help you learn to use the therapeutic space and time in the way that works best for you, opening up room for the change and peace that you're seeking.
Free Initial Consultation
If you're interested in learning more, please reach out via email or phone to schedule a free 20 minute phone consultation (tracy@tracyprycetherapy.com or 410-204-4885). I'm open to virtual consultations as well, since they can help some people get a quicker idea of fit.
We can discuss your needs, my expertise, and begin to determine if we're a good fit for your journey. I'm open to any questions you may have and no need to worry if you're not sure where to start– I can guide us.
Initial Evaluation
During your initial evaluation, we'll follow up together on your already completed paperwork, discussing what lights you up and clarifying your goals in therapy. We'll have the chance to talk more about what you're going through right now and we'll begin to create a plan for our time together. Please expect to spend 60-75 minutes at this appointment. Cost $170
Sessions
Sessions are 50 minutes and are tailored to fit your needs. It's always my goal to leave ample time and space to help you feel calm and centered before the end of the session. We will set goals and practice exercises for you to use between sessions so you can integrate changes into your everyday life. We'll move at a pace that feels comfortable for you, with gentle nudges when you're ready. Cost $170
Out-of-Network Information
At this time I am an out-of-network (OON) provider, meaning I do not contract directly with insurance companies for a number of reasons, including privacy and autonomy during care.
How does it work? Each session, the client pays me directly. I can provide monthly proof of payment called a Superbill that clients can submit to their insurance company for reimbursement. The insurance company then reimburses the client a percentage of the cost in accordance with their health plan.
What questions could I ask my insurance company? It is recommended you call your insurance company to see if out-of-network benefits are provided for mental health therapy and how much your out-of-network deductible would be. Here are some questions to ask your insurance company:
What are my out-of-network mental health benefits?
Do I have a deductible? Is so, what is covered after the deductible is met? Do out-of-network services contribute to this deductible? What have I spent toward my deductible this year?
What is my policy period?
Do I require a pre-authorization for my out-of-network benefits?
How long do I have after the service to submit a claim?
What is the reimbursement I will receive for a CPT code of 90837? (This service code is the most common for individual sessions.)
(If interested in virtual therapy) What is the reimbursement rate for virtual sessions for the CPT code 90837?
Reduced-Fee Information
I have a few sliding-scale slots for those experiencing hardship or with reduced incomes, the lowest of which are reserved for BIPOC, gender queer folx, and therapists in community/ public mental health seeking supervision and consultation. Please ask about an application during your consultation if you are interested in reduced-fee.
I don't ever want someone who is having a positive therapy experience with me to stop our work together because life circumstances change their financial reality for them. If you are a current client and my fee is a concern, please discuss it with me. If I am unable to accommodate your financial situation, I will provide you with referrals.
Precious soul. May I please share something with you? Your grief is not an inconvenience. I pray that when you are hurting and lonely, you will ask someone, the right someone, to hold you . . . Your pain is not a burden. Ask to be held sacredly. Be that brave.
